The Lion's Share won at Wildscreen in 1996. Lions are the only truly social cats, and their lives depend on the group effort of the pride. Sharing is common within the pride. Lactating mothers will suckle the cubs of others, food is shared, and all members participate in the defence of the territory. This film compares and contrasts two prides living in different circumstances through four seasons of intense survival.
